The next Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Oakley Wood will take place on 31 March 2025 at the Barford Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm.
After the formal business of the meeting there will be refreshments, followed by a presentation by Nick Martin, Reserves Manager at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Nick spoke at last year’s AGM about the Trust’s various nature reserves and his talk was very well received. We are lucky to have him back again, this time on the subject of Woodland Wildlife.
There will then be another round of NatureSmash!, the Friends’ very own nature quiz which is based on a well-know TV quiz. Hint: it’s about birds, so time to start sharpening up those skills!
This is your chance to meet other members of The Friends, show your support and discuss wood-related issues – while having a glass of wine. Nominations for membership of the committee and the post of Treasurer are also invited.
