We are intending to hold a Bioblitz in Oakley Wood this summer.
One was held in 2014, and we feel it would be a good time to find out what effect 10 years of forest maintenance has had. We’re still at the planning stage, and at the moment we’re looking for knowledgeable local volunteers who could help with the identification of species found during the day. The date we currently have pencilled in is 2nd June.
Take a look at the results from the 2014 Bioblitz for an idea of what might be found.
