The last task weekend of the winter will be held in Oakley Wood on Sunday 27th February lead as usual by WWT reserves officer George Green.

The plan will be something of a spring tidy – removing dens, putting the finishing touches to any coppicing that has taken place over the winter season, possibly some path maintenance, ride clearance, and possibly some checking over of the tree planting  that has taken place  following the storms. There may well also be some tidying up of potential storm damage.

We will meet in the loading bay for 10:00 am (if you’re not sure where this is, check out the information on previous task weekends). If this is your first session please contact George and he can provide further details (again, further info in previous posts).

Please let George know if you plan to attend; also please bring your goggles/eye protection and hard hat if you have these items.
