George Green has provided more details about the next WWT volunteer session on Sunday 28th November. Normally these sessions meet at the loading bay off the B4100 Banbury Road, but as this is still has timber stacks from the recent felling and is in general need of repair, we will meet at the small car park at the crematorium entrance.
George says:
We plan to be carrying out ride clearance and coppicing on the east/west ride immediately south of the loading bay ride. As usual it will be a 10:00 am start. I can run through until 2 pm but if you can’t attend the full session just let me know, although it is preferable to arrive for the start time.
We will also be opening up this session as a taster to new potential volunteers. In addition I’d like to take some photographs of people in action and the management taking place for social media purposes. I will need your consent to use any photographs you are in so I’ll ask people on the morning if they would like to be in or out and please just say if you would rather not.
If anybody is in need of gloves or hand gel please let me know and I can provide these when you next attend.
If you would like to attend the November volunteer work party please drop me an email by the morning of Thursday 25th and I will confirm that you are booked onto the session.
I look forward to seeing you all on the 28th.
