It seems spring may finally be here. On the day that British Summer Time began it reached nearly 23°C in my garden. I headed off to Oakley Wood to take advantage of the warm weather and continue with my project to map the paths there and was treated to the sight of carpets of beautiful wood anemones. They’re particularly good on the southern ride, near the pond around map squares B6 (NGR: SP306590) and B7 (NGR: SP307590). Well worth a trip!
