I recently visited these woods when my cousin died.. He walked here each day with his wife Bev. I used to be able to recite this poem by heart when I was a small child and having visited the wood, in the depth of winter, I still find I get goosebumps when I read it. Oakley woods are truly magical thank goodness I have found them and thank you to my cousin for introducing me to them. My son has now moved 5 minutes away from them and they will be HIS woods too.
